Sleepy toadstool is a piece I drew for my Appletober challenge on Instagram. Inspired by other artists on the platform, I created my own list of words for anyone to use as prompts for creating during the month of October. This year I experimented with colors, textures, and layering different mediums like watercolor, colored pencil, and gouache.
I like this drawing so I made this one and a couple others into prints to sell online and in person at markets!
